III. Application Process

1. Selecting a Testing Institution

2. Submitting an Application

After contacting the institution, the following information is required:

3. Preparing Samples

Standard parts: Specifications and dimensions must meet instrument requirements (e.g., spectral analysis typically requires 20×20mm). (Above: smooth surface)

Debris/Powder: Source and preparation method must be specified.

Special Items: Irregularly shaped or valuable samples should be handled in advance with the institution.

4. Contract Signing and Sample Submission

After confirming the testing items, cycle, and fees, a service agreement will be signed, and samples will be mailed or delivered.

5. Report Issuance

After testing is completed, the institution will issue an official report bearing the CMA/CNAS seal. The report typically includes: sample description, testing basis, testing equipment, test results (elemental content table), conclusions, and recommendations.
