Procedure for Obtaining a China RoHS Test Report for Home Coffee Machines
China RoHS is based on SJ/T 11364-2014, with testing standards of GB/T 26125-2011 (equivalent to IEC 62321). Home coffee machines fall under the category of small household appliances (codes 0701/0702).
I. Processing Procedure
1. Material Unit Disassembly: The coffee machine is disassembled into homogeneous units, commonly including:
Plastic Casing (ABS/PP)
Heating Element (Metal + Insulation Layer)
Circuit Board (Including Solder)
Water Tank/Inner Liner (Stainless Steel or Aluminum)
Power Cord, Switch, Indicator Lights
Generally, 6–10 units need to be tested.
2. Select a Testing Institution (CMA + CNAS Qualification), such as Dezewei Testing CNAS Registration No.: L8083
3. Sample Submission for Testing
Sample Quantity: 2
Testing Items: 10
Cycle: 5–7 Working Days
Fee: Approximately ¥1000–2000
4. Issuance of Test Report. After completion, you can choose:
Path A: National RoHS Certification (Certificate valid for 5 years, suitable for e-commerce platform entry)
Path B: Self-Declaration (Company issues its own declaration of conformity)
II. Precautions
Complete Machine vs. Unit: Tests must be conducted separately for homogeneous materials before compiling a complete report.
Packaging Labeling: Finished products must bear an "e" mark or a "1–120" number restriction label.
Food Contact Materials: If the inner tank or water system components come into contact with drinking water/coffee, it is recommended to simultaneously perform food-grade testing according to the GB 4806 series.
Shelf Life: Reports and declarations are recommended to be retained for ≥ 5 years.
III. Timeline
| Stage | Time
| Testing Cycle | 5–7 working days
