Guidelines for Handling EU ROHS Test Reports for LED Pet Nail Clippers
1、 Overview of ROHS Directive
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), also known as the Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, is a mandatory environmental standard established by the European Union for electronic and electrical products. LED pet nail clippers, as products containing electronic components, must comply with RoHS compliance requirements when exported to the EU market.
2、 Core testing projects
LED pet nail clippers need to be tested for the following 6 restricted substances:

2. Choose a testing institution → entrust a third-party laboratory with CNAS/CMA qualifications (such as Dezewei Testing CNAS registration number: L8083)
3. Submit application and samples → Fill out the application form, provide product BOM list, technical parameters, and 2-3 complete samples
4. Laboratory testing → X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy screening (XRF) and chemical solvent extraction confirmation according to IEC 62321 standard
5. Issue report → Obtain RoHS test report/certificate after approval
