Date:2025-09-28 09:33:23 Classification :【question】 Visits:
An MSDS provides information on sixteen items, including chemical physical and chemical parameters, flammability and explosion properties, health hazards, safe use and storage, leak handling, first aid measures, and relevant laws and regulations. The Export MSDS/SDS Report Process and Key Points:

I. Core Process

1. Document Preparation

- Fill out the application form: Provide company information, product name, ingredient list (including CAS number and concentration), physicochemical properties (such as flash point, pH value, flammability, etc.), intended use, and export country.

- Supplementary documents: Product instructions, test reports (if available), and safety instructions.

2. Product Classification and Assessment

- Hazard classification is performed based on target country regulations (such as EU CLP, US OSHA, and China GB/T 16483) to determine whether the product is classified as a hazardous material.

- Professional analysis of ingredient toxicity and ecotoxicity data (such as LD50 carcinogenicity) is required.

3. Report Preparation

- Prepare the report in accordance with the standard 16-item format (including ingredient information, first aid measures, transportation requirements, etc.).

- Common Standards:

- EU: REACH/CLP Regulations (GHS format required)

- US: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200

- International Standard: ISO 11014

4. Audit and Delivery

- Internal Audit: The company will self-check the accuracy of the information.

- Third-Party Audit (Optional): A certification body (such as Shenzhen Dezewei Testing) will be commissioned to verify compliance.

- Report Obtaining: A PDF electronic version will be generated, with multi-language translation supported (English, German, etc.).

5. Updates and Maintenance

- Regular Updates: Updates are required for ingredient changes, regulatory adjustments (such as new restricted substances in the EU), or every three years.

II. Special Scenarios

1. Dangerous Goods Export

- A Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate (a certificate of identification of the use of dangerous goods packaging for export) must be obtained, with an MSDS as a supporting document.

- Sea/air transport requires the UN number and transport classification to be marked.

2. Cross-border E-commerce Platform Requirements

- Amazon, Temu, and other platforms require the submission of an SDS report for hazardous materials review, and the format must comply with GHS standards.

3. Non-hazardous Chemicals

- Some countries require a cargo transport condition certificate (certifying non-hazardous properties).

III. Cost and Turnaround Time

- Cost: Approximately 500-1000 RMB per document, with higher fees for complex ingredients or expedited services.

- Turnaround: 5-7 business days (normal).

IV. Recommended Service Agencies

- Third-Party Agencies:

- Shenzhen Dezewei (Professional Chemical Assessment)

- Authorization Certification (Cross-border E-commerce Platform Compatibility)

- Self-written: Familiarity with the target country's regulations and GHS classification standards is required.
